AAT Update — October 19, 2026
Alternate Ammo Types (AAT) come to the Pack-a-Punch, XP gains pop up on screen, a Speedrun leaderboard, Homelander for NOVA, an airtight .lock and the VOID ZOMBIES wiki.

On this page
The biggest update since Season 2.5: BO3-style ammo, new settings, a new character and a batch of anti-glitch fixes.
Alternate Ammo Types (AAT)
Just like BO3: bring an already Pack-a-Punched weapon back to the machine for 15,000 points. It gets a random AAT with 25 charges (1 trigger = 1 charge). At 0 you buy a new one. Buying again early gives a different AAT.

- Dead Wire: an electric arc kills the zombie and jumps to the ones nearby.
- Turned: the zombie switches sides and slaughters the others before dying. It never hits you and ignores lava.
- Thunder Wall: a shockwave blasts forward and launches up to 6 zombies into the air, killed instantly.
- Napalm Burst: fire blast, the target dies and everything around it burns to death. Also triggers on the killing shot.
Your weapon's AAT and its remaining charges are shown on the HUD, with a hitmarker on every trigger.
Weapons with attachments (SCAR, AN-94…) still swap attachment at the Pack-a-Punch with the use key: their AAT is bought with melee.
Full details: Special ammo (AAT).
XP gains pop up on screen
- Every XP gain shows on screen: kills, headshots, revives and end of round, bonuses included (VIP, Rampage, events, x2 token).
- Special kills are named: Dead Wire Kill, Napalm Kill, Thunder Wall Kill, Turned Kill, and also trap kills (Trap Kill) and melee kills (Melee Kill).
- Melee kills (knife, Galvaknuckles, Bowie) give 50% more XP than a regular kill.
- The popup can be turned off in the VOID settings: XP POPUP option.

New Speedrun leaderboard
Your time to reach rounds 10, 20, 30… is recorded automatically and ranked by map and by player count. Nothing to turn on: just play, the timer runs by itself.
The leaderboard is on the website, and the timing rules are in the wiki: Speedruns.
Two new VOID settings
Two new options in the VOID settings, off by default:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| SPEEDOMETER | Your live movement speed on screen, for speedrunners. |
| HEALTH BAR | Your health bar, built into the XP bar. |
See also: VOID Settings.
Homelander joins the playermodels
- Homelander (The Boys) becomes the NOVA rank character: type
.homelanderto wear him. - CJ (GTA San Andreas) moves to the SPARK rank:
.cj. .modeloffgives you your original character back.

See also: Playermodels and Supporter ranks.
Gobblegums
Burn Heart now lasts 10 minutes (instead of 3 rounds).
See also: Gobblegum list.
Rules and anti-glitch
.lockis finally airtight. A player who left can no longer come back into a locked game: only players present at.locktime get 5 minutes to return after a crash. The lock now survives a game over, and the message shown to a refused player is readable. See The lock (.lock).- Down limit: public servers only. The 25 downs per game cap now only applies on public servers: there is no limit anymore on private servers. See Essential rules.
- MOTD: no more glitch where you could go prone inside the Mule Kick (or PhD) machine to become untouchable.
- Nuketown: the perched spot above a door where zombies couldn't reach you is now forbidden (warning, then back to spawn).
World chat and main menu
.wc off/.wc on: hide or show the world chat, for you only. See In-game commands.- Main menu: the Refresh button works, and the "Other servers" tab (VIP, DLC 5) is clearly visible.
The VOID ZOMBIES wiki
The whole server explained in one place, in English, French, Spanish and Arabic: AAT, gobblegums, commands, bank, XP and prestige, ranks and playermodels, map Easter eggs, speedruns, rentals, FAQ.
Open the wiki: the search bar at the top finds any command or gum.
