25 downs maximum (public servers)

  • On a public server, on your 24th down in the same game, you get a warning: "one more down and you're out".
  • On the 25th, you're kicked from the server for that game.
  • On private servers, there's no down limit.

Joining a game in progress

  • Before round 10, you spawn right away; after that, at the start of the next round.
  • If you join at round 25 or later, the game does not count toward your records, your best round or the leaderboards.
  • Round and Easter egg rewards are still credited as usual.
Why?

A record should belong to someone who played the game from the start. See Records and leaderboards.

Game stalled by AFK players

If the only players still alive are AFK and others are waiting to play, a 60-second countdown starts, then the round is force-ended.

The last stuck zombie

A zombie stuck somewhere? If only one zombie has been left for 30 seconds and none are left to come, type .kill (linked account). The whole server is notified.

Behavior

  • Hateful insults lead to an automatic ban.
  • To report a player: .report <message> in game (private, goes to staff) or a ticket on Discord.
  • For a bug: .bugreport <description> in game, or /bug on Discord.
